Jerome John Coughlin

JEROME JOHN COUGHLIN age 76, passed away at his home on March 2, 2025. He was born in Cleveland, January 6, 1949, to the late Francis and Bernice Coughlin (nee Kirchner). Jerry worked in sales, construction, and later had his own trucking business and loved being on the road, traveling to all of the lower 48. He enjoyed golfing, watching the Browns, the Cavs, and the Indians, playing computer games and being grumpy. His passionate conversations about current political events could make you avoid the living room where he always sat watching the news, sports or crime shows. He was a long-time member of AA. 

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Jeanne Marie (nee Roach), daughters Michelle Montgomery (Otha) of Painesville, Christine Matthews (James) of Eastlake, Laura Coughlin-Presutti (Jesse) of Harpersfield, Amanda Coughlin of Willoughby, and son, Jeffrey Coughlin of Eastlake. He was grandfather, “Bumpa”, to Amante, Katrina, Otha Jr, Cherish, DeMarcus, Janel, Ashley, Breawnna, Kyle, Amanda, Jaret, Zoey and Alexander, and great-grandfather of 20. He is also survived by brothers, Michael Coughlin of Chesterland and Daniel Coughlin of Kirtland.

Cremation by Forest City Crematory. Private Interment.
